How do I transfer colleges?

Talk with your advisor at your current college to see what you need to do to prepare to transfer. Also speak with admissions at the college(s) you plan to attend to learn about the transfer process and what you need to do to prepare. Make sure you successfully complete your classes at your current college.

What is a college credit hour?

Possibly. You will need to check with your college to see if this is an option.

When are college transfer applications typically due?

It depends. Reach out to the college you will be transferring to. Typically, it’s best to complete the application at the beginning of the semester before you plan to transfer, so if you are planning to transfer in the fall, start your application at the beginning of the spring semester prior to fall.
